the parry system is the whole game, read the swing, time it, punish. real skill expression once you learn the movesets and throw timings, and the ragdoll makes every kill look nasty. only problem is lobbies get teamed constantly so half your deaths are third parties instead of reads. when its a clean 1v1 between two people who actually know the parry game its top tier melee. matchmaking just needs to protect duels better.

parry into a throw off the map is clip central. the ragdoll launches basically edit themselves, chaos in the best way

the parry read is the whole game, time the swing, punish, throw them off the map. real skill expression once you learn the movesets. only thing that ruins matches is the occasional laggy teamer, as always.

the parry read is the whole skill expression, agreed. throw timings and movement tech give it a real ceiling. its just held back by being casual FFA lobbies instead of a structured 1v1 ladder where that tech would actually be sorted out.
