mm2 does not get enough credit as a tension game. picture it, everyone else is down, it is me and the murderer left, and the sheriff already got taken out early so no gun is coming to save me. im an innocent with zero weapons, just vibes and map knowledge. im weaving through the mansion, cutting corners, listening for footsteps because you can HEAR them getting close. every time i round a corner i brace for the knife. the murderer is toying with me now, walking slow, letting me think i lost them, then popping out from behind a pillar. i juke one swing, sprint for the vent, and survive the round timer by like two seconds. no scream, no jumpscare, but my heart was pounding harder than in most real horror games. social deduction plus a hunter that plays with its food is a genuinely scary combo when the lobby goes quiet.
