decent time waster. you unlock abilities by winning and then go free for all or team fight in the arena. some kits are clearly busted and the balance is a joke but its fun to mess around for a bit. no real progression depth tho, once youve unlocked the strong abilities theres nothing left to chase. fine for a quick session, its no real fighter.

you grind wins to unlock abilities and the good ones take real timing, landing a combo with the right ability is legit skill expression. but its a FFA so the second you start topping the board 3 randoms team you and third party every duel, classic ability wars. balance is also all over the place, some ability combos are just unfair and theres nothing you can do about it. still one of the few games where movement and prediction matter more than button mashing. 4, would be higher if teaming wasnt the whole meta.
the combat has a real skill floor, dodging and timing your abilities matters and you can outplay people. problem is half the power comes from just grinding wins to unlock the strong abilities, so a new player with good reads still loses to someone holding a better kit. thats progression, not skill. ffa also collapses into everyone third partying the last two standing. fun in bursts but not the pure skill test i want. middle of the road.
