chasing sub-50 for weeks. pb stuck at 51. every run something dumb, miss a wraparound, slip off a truss, panic at the top. tonight the tower loads and the sections are clean. good rng. no nightmare spinning platforms, no paper-thin ice ledges. i go. first third on autopilot, pure muscle memory. middle has a gap jump i always choke, nail it first try. hands are sweaty now. top section, timer climbing, i can see the win pad. one wraparound left, the exact jump that ends most of my runs. i flick off the truss, land it, jump to the pad. clock reads 47. FORTY SEVEN. i actually yelled. weeks of falling at the top for that. no checkpoints means every clean run is earned, nothing handed to you. that is why this game never gets old. new pb, hands still shaking. back to grinding for 45.
