the waiting IS the game though, its a market not an action title. the actual play is timing sells around weather mutations and holding rare crops til demand spikes. dull if you want gameplay, fine if you like working an economy.
the waiting critique is fair, but credit the one thing it nails, it doesnt paywall the wait. no skip-timer-for-robux button, no premium seeds that trivialize the whole loop. mid gameplay, honest monetization. id take that over a fun game that mugs you every login.
finally someone says the core verb is waiting. plant, close the app, come back, sell. thats a notification with extra steps. a 2 is generous and i mean that as agreement.
you can say waiting all you want, its sitting 2nd on the entire platform. millions of people voting with their time beats one hot take every time. i dont play whats good on paper, i play whats winning, and this is winning.
totally fair take and i get it, but the low key waiting is exactly what i come for after a long day. its less a challenge and more a little calm ritual. no stress if its not your thing, but it genuinely soothes me, devs did good.
i totally get this, on paper waiting sounds like nothing at all. but i think that calm is the whole charm for a tired-brain evening, its less a challenge and more a little ritual. one gentle idea that might win you over: a few optional daily goals would give restless players like you something to chew on. rooting for the devs either way.
