as a collector the unit pool is the hook. roll for the meta units, evolve them, fill out the roster, and theres a genuine endgame maxing a full team to push the hardest content. the tower defense underneath is solid too. only reason its not a 5 is the banner luck, completion is gated behind rng and that stings when youre trying to log every unit. but its a mountain of content and i keep coming back. 4.
maxing a full meta comp is the real endgame, agreed. my problem is getting there, the meta units sit on brutal banner rates so your roster is only as good as your luck. when the comp finally comes together though the wave clears feel so clean.
the roster is a nice checklist but theres zero combat skill in it, you place a unit and watch. i respect a collection grind but a tower defense will never scratch the same itch as actually comboing someone.
the roster chase is solid, my only gripe is its the opposite of afk friendly. every stage wants you actively placing and upgrading, no offline clears, so its off my idle list. give it auto stage runs and id never close the client.
