everybody remembers their first perfect mm2 read. mine was years ago and i still think about it. i was innocent, dead silent lobby, so i just watched. one guy kept side stepping around everyone, never getting close, always keeping a wall or a table between himself and the sheriff. no knife pulled, nothing you could actually report, just a feeling. i typed his name in chat and said watch this one. sheriff didnt listen and got knifed thirty seconds later. the gun dropped, i sprinted over, grabbed it, spun around, and shot the exact guy id called out. the whole server lost it in chat. that feeling, being right about a person off nothing but how they moved across a room, that is what mm2 actually is. not the godly knives, not the trade values, all of that came later and honestly half buried the original game. but strip the shop away and its still the same tense little social experiment it was in 2014. some games age into something worse. mm2 quietly aged into a classic.
silent lobby reads are the scariest part of mm2 fr. you can feel the murderer watching before they ever swing. those tense rounds are the ones that stick with you for years
everyone remembers their first perfect MM2 read! that quiet lobby tension when you're the innocent trying to figure out the murderer is timeless. such a classic. greetings from Ukraine!
