one input. parry, or die. thats the game. and look, the skill of reading the ball is real, the top players are genuinely sharp and i wont pretend otherwise. but the loop is one note and gets old fast, and then theres the abilities, half your ranked losses are just somebody rolling a stronger ability than you and mashing it. a skill game shouldnt have a luck tax stapled to the front of it. i respect the ceiling, im tired of the climb. 2.

Ein Input ist der ganze Sinn, er reduziert das Spiel auf reines Lesen und Nerven. Es oberflächlich zu bezeichnen, nur weil es einen Knopf gibt, ist wie Schach oberflächlich zu nennen, weil man nur Figuren bewegt. Die Gedankenspiele auf hohem Rang gehen tiefer als die meisten Spiele mit vollem Moveset.

one input is the entire point, it strips the game down to pure read and nerve. calling it shallow because theres one button is like calling chess shallow because you just move pieces. the mind games at high rank go deeper than most games with a full moveset.
