ill be honest, this one clears the bar the other horror clones limbo under. the chapter structure actually builds dread instead of just throwing jumpscares at you, and the japanese folklore angle gives it a face of its own. its not reinventing anything and it leans on the chase sequences too hard, but it is trying, and trying is rare around here. a real 3, not a pity one.
