솔직히 말해서, 이 책은 다른 공포 클론들이 한계에 빠진 기준을 넘어섰다. 챕터 구조가 단순히 점프 스케어를 던지는 대신 오히려 공포감을 쌓아가고, 일본 민속 요소도 독특한 면모를 부여한다. 새로운 것을 재창조하는 것은 아니고 추격 장면에 너무 의존하지만, 시도는 하고 있고, 이 영화에서는 시도하는 경우가 드물다. 진정한 3, 불쌍한 3이 아니다.

ill be honest, this one clears the bar the other horror clones limbo under. the chapter structure actually builds dread instead of just throwing jumpscares at you, and the japanese folklore angle gives it a face of its own. its not reinventing anything and it leans on the chase sequences too hard, but it is trying, and trying is rare around here. a real 3, not a pity one.
