은행 강도 사건도 똑같아요
돌아오자마자 제일 먼저 한 일은 탈옥을 불러오고 아무 생각 없이 은행으로 운전하는 것이었어요. 제 손이 길을 알고 있었거든요. 해킹해서 현금을 챙기고, 예전처럼 경찰을 따돌리며 다리를 건너왔어. 한 번의 강탈 사건은 2021년이었어요. 그러다 새로 나온 것들, 모르는 강탈, 살 수 없는 차들, 그리고 나를 향해 카운트다운하는 시즌 패스를 발견했다. 이것저것 살펴보고, 몇 가지를 다시 배우고, 돈을 좀 벌었어요. 그래도 좋은 게임이고, 솔직히 더 나은 게임일 수도 있어요. 다만 제 머릿속에 있는 버전보다 더 많은 요소가 있을 뿐이에요. 하지만 저를 실제로 놀라게 한 부분은 지도가 아니라 친구 목록이었어요. 제가 팀을 운영하던 모든 이름은 오프라인이고, 어떤 사람은 몇 년간 운영하고 있습니다. 은행을 혼자 털었는데도 똑같았고, 기억보다 훨씬 조용했어요.

first thing i did when i came back was load jailbreak and drive to the bank without even thinking, my hands just knew the way. cracked it, grabbed the cash, outran a cop across the same bridge i used to. for one heist it was 2021 again. then i noticed all the new stuff, heists i didnt recognize, cars i cant afford, a season pass counting down at me. i poked around, relearned a couple things, made some money. its still a good game, maybe a better one honestly, theres just more of it than the version living in my head. the part that actually got me wasnt the map though, it was the friends list. every name i used to run crews with is offline, some for years. i robbed the bank solo and it still hit the same, just a lot quieter than i remembered.
