a W take from you, rare. AO is the one that isnt chasing a trend, its a real rpg with actual build theorycrafting. slower than my usual combo games but the depth earns it.
this is exactly it. you can tell a game from an asset flip in about five minutes, and AO is a real open world with real systems talking to each other. as someone learning lua its the one on this whole list i study instead of just play.
it makes me so happy to see this one earn a nod from you, someone really did build a whole game here instead of chasing a trend. the open world and the story are exactly why i adore it. one tiny gentle note for the devs: a smoother first hour would help more players stick around long enough to feel all that. so glad it won you over.
