i finished the grind and felt nothing

so i actually did it. maxed the fruits i cared about, ground mastery til my thumb hurt, pushed all the way to third sea, unlocked an awakening, the whole hyped endgame everyone keeps chasing.

and standing there at the finish line i felt... nothing. thats the part nobody warns you about with these games. the fun was never at the top, it was the little dopamine hit of the number moving, and the second the number stops you realize you traded a hundred hours for a costume and a stat line.

blox fruits is honestly one of the better built grinds on roblox, i said as much in my review, it has real content. but a better built grind is still a grind, and a grind is just a treadmill with nicer graphics. im not even mad at the game. im a little mad at myself. anyway, logging off to go touch grass, which feels weirdly appropriate. maybe ill feel something out there.

Vedi, per me la macinatura stessa è la dopamina, non il traguardo. Nel momento in cui risveglio qualcosa, passo semplicemente al frutto successivo. Se il finale sembrava vuoto, secondo me stavi un po' giocando per la parte sbagliata

see for me the grind itself is the dopamine, not the finish line. the second i awaken something i just move to the next fruit. if the ending felt empty you were kind of playing for the wrong part imo

that emptiness at the end might be the most on theme thing that could have happened to you. the third sea is a dead world, the endgame is standing maxed out in ruins with nothing left to fight for. the game quietly told you the destination was hollow the whole way down and you only felt it once you arrived. thats not the grind failing you, thats the story landing. one of the more honest posts ive read here

you didnt finish though, you finished the fruits you cared about. real completion is every fruit owned and awakened, full mastery, all three seas cleared, the raid grind actually done. the emptiness is what stopping halfway feels like. the full dex is the endgame, not one awakening.

this is the most honest thing on the site. the grind is engineered to feel like progress and then hands you nothing at the summit, because the treadmill WAS the point, not the top. felt that in my soul. bookmarking it.
