May kalahating tapos na montage ng Rivals na nabubulok sa mga draft ko ng dalawang linggo. Apat na disenteng kills at wala pang tapus, at alam ng bawat editor na KAILANGAN mo ang huling clip para matapos. Kaya nag-rank ako para pilitin ito, pero mas mahina ang laro dahil nagte-tryhard ako para sa content imbes na puro vibe lang. Tapos kagabi, kusa na lang nangyari. 1v4, mababa ang hp, ako ang huling buhay sa team ko. Tumigil ako sa pag-iisip at nagsimulang mag-flick. Unang lalaki ang sumilip, pababa. Pangalawang pagtulak, pababa. Mag-reload sa likod ng pader, marinig ang pag-ikot ng pangatlo, mag-swing nang malapad at mahuli siya sa ere. Ang huling tao ay nag-panic at sumugod sa akin, nagpalitan kami at nagmina ng lupa muna. 1v4 ace para tapusin ang round. Talagang sumigaw ako. Iyon ang naging outro at nagdala ng buong video, naging 3x ang views ko sa normal. Ang aral? Itigil mo na ang pagpilit. Ang magagandang clip ay lumalabas agad sa sandaling ma-lock in mo at makalimutan mong tumatakbo pa ang camera. Nananatili ang Rivals sa rotation.

had a half finished rivals montage rotting in my drafts for two weeks. 4 decent kills and nothing to close it out, and every editor knows you NEED that final clip to end on. so im grinding ranked trying to force it, playing worse because im tryharding for content instead of just vibing. then last night it happens on its own. 1v4, low hp, im the last one alive on my team. i stop thinking and just start flicking. first guy peeks, down. second pushes, down. reload behind a wall, hear the third rotating, swing wide and catch him mid air. last dude panics and jumps me, we trade and mine lands first. 1v4 ace to close the round. i genuinely screamed. that became the outro and carried the entire video, ended up doing 3x my normal views. the lesson? stop forcing it. the good clips show up the second you actually lock in and forget the camera is even running. rivals stays in the rotation.

funny how the clip came the second you stopped forcing it and played position. thats not luck, thats what good positioning gets you, free value. write it down, your aim is only as good as the angle you take it from. more people need to hear this.

the drafts graveyard is so real, i have like six half montages rotting because i forced the upload instead of waiting for a real moment. one genuine clutch beats ten forced clips for retention every time. needed to hear this today ngl.
