Tenía un montaje de rivales a medio terminar pudriéndose en mis borradores durante dos semanas. 4 muertes decentes y nada para cerrar, y todos los montadores saben que NECESITAS ese clip final para terminar. Así que estoy farmeando clasificatorias intentando forzarlo, jugando peor porque me esfuerzo por contenido en vez de solo conectar. Y anoche pasó solo. 1v4, poca vida, soy el último vivo de mi equipo. Dejo de pensar y empiezo a mover un poco de golpe. El primer chico asoma la cabeza, abajo. Segundo empuje, hacia abajo. recarga detrás de una pared, escucha al tercero girar, balancea ancho y atrápalo en el aire. El último tipo se asustó y me atacó, intercambiamos y la mina cayó primero. 1 contra 4 as para cerrar la ronda. De verdad grité. Eso se convirtió en el final y mantuvo todo el vídeo, terminando con 3 veces más vistas que lo normal. ¿La lección? Deja de forzarlo. Los buenos clips aparecen en el momento en que realmente fijas el bloqueo y olvidas que la cámara está funcionando. Rivals se queda en la rotación.

had a half finished rivals montage rotting in my drafts for two weeks. 4 decent kills and nothing to close it out, and every editor knows you NEED that final clip to end on. so im grinding ranked trying to force it, playing worse because im tryharding for content instead of just vibing. then last night it happens on its own. 1v4, low hp, im the last one alive on my team. i stop thinking and just start flicking. first guy peeks, down. second pushes, down. reload behind a wall, hear the third rotating, swing wide and catch him mid air. last dude panics and jumps me, we trade and mine lands first. 1v4 ace to close the round. i genuinely screamed. that became the outro and carried the entire video, ended up doing 3x my normal views. the lesson? stop forcing it. the good clips show up the second you actually lock in and forget the camera is even running. rivals stays in the rotation.

funny how the clip came the second you stopped forcing it and played position. thats not luck, thats what good positioning gets you, free value. write it down, your aim is only as good as the angle you take it from. more people need to hear this.

the ace coming through right when you needed it to close the montage, thats so satisfying!! love when the game just hands you the moment. cant wait to see the finished edit, im rooting for you.

the drafts graveyard is so real, i have like six half montages rotting because i forced the upload instead of waiting for a real moment. one genuine clutch beats ten forced clips for retention every time. needed to hear this today ngl.
