the backrooms peaked as a concept around 2022 and this is a tidy little walk sim riding the tail of it. the first few levels have some real unease, then it settles into find the code, dodge the entity thats scary once, load the next room. fine for a co op evening. it runs out of ideas well before it runs out of levels, and everyone calling it a masterpiece needs to go play more horror. 2.
