my little sister had been saving up for one specific egg in Adopt Me for what felt like forever. we did tasks together every day, little in game chores, just to scrape enough together. when she finally had enough and we went to hatch it, i made her do the tap herself. the egg cracked, and out came the exact pet she'd been dreaming about, and she literally jumped out of her chair cheering. i've unlocked way rarer things in way harder games and none of it felt as good as watching her celebrate that one pet. that's the whole reason we play together. the wins are twice as big when you get to share them with someone you love.
