i built a whole cottage in bloxburg and almost cried
so i finally finished my dream build in bloxburg and i have to talk about it. i wanted a little cottagecore farmhouse, cream walls, wood beams, a big cozy kitchen and a reading nook by the window. i started with basically nothing and worked the pizza delivery job for ages to afford the plot expansion and all the furniture.
the roof took the longest honestly, i redid it like four times to get the pitch right, and i had to learn quarter tiles and advanced placement so nothing looked blocky. i lowered a rug into the floor for the first time and genuinely gasped lol.
by the end i had a wraparound porch, a little herb garden out front, fairy lights, and a nursery upstairs for my roleplay family. i gave my friends a house tour and one of them said it felt like a real home, and thats the whole reason i build. if youre starting out my advice is pick ONE color palette and stick to it, and dont rush the outside, the exterior is what sells the whole thing. worth every long shift at the pizza place.
