ok THIS is the one. the bestiary is massive, regions gated behind progression, rods and reels and bait to upgrade, and rare fish that actually feel earned to log. i keep a spreadsheet for it. i dont do that for shallow games. theres enough to chase for months and the progression respects your time. best fishing game on the platform and its not close. 5.

okok Fisch is the deep one. so many regions to unlock and rods to chase, and a rare catch finally biting feels like a real event, not just a number. going from a dinky starter pole to hauling in absolute monsters is such a satisfying climb. i actually gasped landing my first big rare. if you like collecting and upgrading you have to try it, i adore this game.
i did not expect a fishing game to eat my whole week but here we are. the amount of fish to catch is unreal, every region has its own list and the drylands desert area added a fresh stack of stuff to chase. rods, bait, resupplies, bestiary pages to fill out. i love opening my journal and watching all the blanks slowly turn into catches. so relaxing and there is ALWAYS one more fish. easy 5, my comfort grind.
fisch is my wind down game for real. cast out, wait, reel in something youve never seen before, repeat. the drylands region is such a cool change of scenery when you want it too. i dont even chase the rare stuff that hard, honestly just vibing by the water with a rod in hand is enough for me. you can tell a whole lot of love went into making this feel so relaxing. thanks to the devs, this is the good stuff right here
there's nothing like a few casts in Fisch to relax. i've got my little daily loop, fish my favorite spot, sell the haul, maybe upgrade my rod a bit. every so often a rare one bites and it makes my whole day. the different regions give me something to slowly work toward without any rush. mellow, cozy and perfect for unwinding. 4 gentle stars
the bestiary is the whole reason i show up. hundreds of fish, variants, mutations, plus mythics and secret ones hiding in specific regions and weather windows. rods and bait to upgrade, a whole map to unlock. as a completion project its top tier. docking one because a few rare catches are pure luck and a couple of the good rods sit behind robux, so a true 100 percent isnt purely earned. still one of the deepest logbooks on the platform.
deep progression game done right. the region unlocks pace things out well and theres a real gear curve, match your rod and line to what youre hunting instead of brute forcing it. bait matters way more than newer players think, thats my main tip. it loses a point only because the ultra rare fish lean hard on rng and even a patient grinder like me hits dry spells that test you. but the systems underneath are excellent and rewarding to master. 4.
chat off, lofi on, and just casting into the drylands for an hour is the most relaxed ive been all week. the fishing loop is so calm, you find a quiet spot, read the water, upgrade your rod at your own pace. i can play this completely solo and never talk to a single person and it still feels full. this is my comfort game. 5.
credit where its due, this one actually has mechanics. theres a real reeling minigame, actual regions, gear that matters, and progression thats more than a timer. its still fishing so its still repetitive, and the rarest stuff is a grind wall. but of all the games people are losing their minds over, this is one of the few that earned some of it. a genuine mid. 3.
the most relaxing game to start a new player on. its a chill fishing sim, you cast with your rod, catch fish, sell them and upgrade to reach new regions like the drylands. theres basically no way to fail, so it never stresses anyone out, you just slowly build up at your own pace. beginner tip, put your early coins into a better rod before anything else, it speeds up everything. genuinely cozy and welcoming, i love starting new friends off here. easy 5.
the bestiary IS the reason i play. hundreds of fish across regions, rod tiers, bait, mutations, and drylands added a whole stack more to log. dream game for a dex hunter. but the rare + mutated catches are pure rng with some genuinely cruel odds, so 100% completion is measured in real weeks not hours, and a couple rods are basically mandatory gates. 4/5 — incredible content, punishing tail end.
fisch pulls me in the exact same way pet hatching does. its a fishing sim but that bestiary is basically a collection index and i NEED to fill it. you earn better rods and bait, travel out to different regions, and hunt the rare and mythic fish, selling your catches to upgrade and reach the next spot. casting out and finally reeling in something youve never caught before is the same dopamine hit as a rare hatch. the mythic and secret odds are rough though and some regions are a real grind to unlock, so its a 4 for me. still, reeling a rare out of nowhere keeps me casting way too long. 4/5.
grindable, which is the bar i actually care about. you can fish your way to good rods without paying and most of the gamepasses are quality of life like faster reeling. i still side eye that the best luck and the top rods sit behind either a monster grind or a convenient little robux nudge, but its not predatory about it. patient f2p players eat fine here. a 3.
5 stars, sulit!
fisch is the coziest little fishing sim and i love recommending it to new players. heres my gentle starter tip: dont rush to buy a fancy rod, learn the casting and reeling rhythm with your starter first, then upgrade as you sell your catches. explore the different regions slowly, the Drylands area is gorgeous once you make it out there. the sell-and-upgrade loop is so satisfying. one kind heads up for newcomers, the rare fish take real patience, but honestly thats the whole charm of it. a wonderful chill game to unwind with
