people think you have to spend big to land a chroma in mm2. you dont, you need to understand values and be patient. i started with a single godly i unboxed and a handful of commons. rule one, never overpay, make the other side throw in the overpay. rule two, trade up on downgrades, if someone offers slightly under on a clean godly for their higher tier ancient, take it, small paper losses that move you up a tier are worth it. rule three, hold retired event knives, the old event godlies never come back so their value only climbs, i sat on a couple for months and they carried my whole come up. rule four, follow the value list but know when its lagging real demand, thats exactly where you eat. after enough tier climbs a chroma trade finally came together, ancients plus a retired for it. the round based game is fine but the real mm2 is the market, and if you learn to read it you can build wealth from nothing
