how our family does a school morning in berry avenue

for anyone new to family roleplay i wanted to share the little routine that finally made it click for my kids. we play Berry Avenue and keep it simple. everyone picks a role the night before, i am usually the mom, my oldest is the older sibling who is far too cool for breakfast, and my youngest is the baby of the house. in the morning we do a proper school run. i make breakfast in the kitchen, we use the outfit codes to dress everyone for the day, and one child is always missing a shoe on purpose because apparently that is the joke now. then we drive to the school build and part ways for classes, which is really just everyone hanging out. what makes Berry Avenue work for us is that the community mostly respects the roleplay. i have had complete strangers wave and stay in character instead of barging in. it is not perfect, and it can feel a little empty on quiet servers, but if you want a calm wholesome family game to share with your children, this is the one i keep coming back to. set a few house rules, use a private server if you can, and it turns into something really special.
