all i wanted was a quiet family dinner

every sunday my two kids and i do a little family night in Brookhaven. we pick out a house, i cook a roast in the kitchen, and we all sit at the table and chat about our day in character. it is honestly the highlight of my week and the kids adore it. last sunday we finally got a big house with the long dining table, set everything up, and about two minutes in a player walks in, takes one of the cars from the driveway, drives it straight through the front wall, and starts blasting the loudest noise i have ever heard through the mic. my youngest actually got upset. we tried to ignore him, we really did, but he just followed us from room to room. we ended up hopping to three different servers before we found a calm one. i am not asking for much, just a way to lock a server or remove someone who is clearly there to ruin it for everyone. the game hands you this beautiful little town and then leaves the door wide open for anyone to wreck it. we still play, because when it works it is pure magic, but every time i hold my breath and hope the server is a nice one.

omg the sunday family dinner routine is the sweetest thing 🥺 this is exactly why brookhaven is the best, its not the houses its the people you share them with. tell your kids a random internet stranger thinks their family nights are adorable hehe
