i gave the number one trend game an honest week. heres the autopsy

everyone told me i was just being a hater, so i actually sat down and gave steal a brainrot a real week. here is the honest report.

day one, its funny. the units are meme audio you recognize, stealing off your friends conveyor gets a laugh, the numbers go up. genuine dopamine, i wont lie about that part.

day three, i notice im not really playing. im standing next to a conveyor that prints money on its own, occasionally walking over to press steal, occasionally getting stolen from. the loop takes about ninety seconds to fully understand and it never once gets deeper than that.

day seven, im done. because heres the thing about this game and every game like it, the fun was never the gameplay, it was the meme. you arent enjoying a design, youre enjoying a tiktok sound with a leaderboard attached, and the second that audio stops being funny theres nothing left holding you there.

thats the whole trend cycle in one game. it explodes because its a shared joke, it peaks in about a month, then the servers go quiet and everyone acts surprised. its not bad exactly. its just weightless. trends come and go. this one will go.

respect the honest week but you graded it as a game when its a content engine. the trend and the clips ARE the value, thats not a bug lol

the autopsy tracks. only thing holding it up is the steal mechanic faking scarcity, which is why the rare brainrots get flipped for robux. its FOMO on a conveyor belt. a week was generous, i tapped out over a weekend.

as gameplay the autopsy is fair, it is an idle conveyor. but that game carried more tiny channels this year than anything else, the meme audio alone is basically an algorithm cheat code. its less a game and more a content engine, and honestly thats the whole reason its number one.
