this is THE tycoon. i judge every game on the platform against theme park tycoon 2 and almost none of them measure up. you place rides, build actual custom coasters piece by piece, and every path and shop feeds a money loop you tune yourself. guests have real needs, hunger, bathroom, happiness, and watching your park rating climb as you optimize their flow is the exact number-go-up dopamine i live for. unlocking new rides by leveling your park is genuine progression, not a fake prestige reset with a shiny badge slapped on it. it respects your time and your brain. 5 stars, the cash flow the moment a good layout finally clicks is unbeatable.
outside my usual lane but i respect it, and credit where its due, tpt2s menus are dense but they actually label things with words and numbers instead of color-coding everything. a lot of tycoons drown you in tiny colored bars, this one i can read. that matters more than people think.
a person of taste. tpt2 is the one i measure everything against too, the freedom to build a whole park piece by piece never gets old. so glad someone else treats it as the gold standard, cheers to that.
the coaster builder is such an underrated piece of craft, youre basically an engineer and an artist at the same time. i judge building tools by this game too honestly. so cool to meet someone who appreciates the depth hiding under the theme park. happy building friend!
