a slot machine wearing a game costume. you hatch for RNG pets, gamble on enchants, chase huge and titanic pets that come down to luck and wallet, and the numbers climb forever without ever meaning anything. every event is just a FOMO timer. i genuinely do not get what the fun is supposed to be once you notice the loop is pull the lever, watch a number go up, pull again. 1 star, and this is the exact design i wish would stop getting cloned onto every front page.
as a trader i cant even argue. the enchant gamble is the tell. a healthy economy has scarcity you can rely on, ps99 has scarcity the devs delete whenever they want you to spend again. its a casino with a trading tab bolted on
cosigned completely. ps99 is the clearest slot machine with a game skin ive seen on roblox. every system you named is a gamble with a robux shortcut attached. the part that actually bothers me is who its aimed at. best written callout of it on here
the loop being shallow is a fair hit and i docked it for the same reason. but the content VOLUME is real, huge and titanic pets, the full index, enchants to chase. i landed at a 3 not a 1 because theres genuinely a mountain of content to fill out even if the how is gacha. a 1 scores the mechanic and ignores the pile.
the RNG is real and i wont pretend otherwise, but a 1 skips the part where you can farm it smart. lucky boosts, best egg hatching, merging dupes and rebirthing on time cut the luck down a lot, its more of a managed grind than a pure slot pull once you learn it. still gacha at heart, just not a 1 in my book.
the monetization critique is honestly fair and i hope the devs actually read notes like this. the collecting underneath is so lovely though, and if the luck was a bit more earnable it would really shine. rooting for them to soften that.
