ps99 trading is a treadmill. the second you grind or buy your way to a titanic the devs drop a new event and your value gets cut in half. huges used to mean something, now there are like forty of them. the economy is genuinely huge but its designed to inflate so you keep hatching, and the enchants plus the nonstop events are just monetization with extra steps. its a 3 because the trade volume is real and you can profit if you flip during an event, but never treat a pet here as a store of value. it isnt one.

this is the quiet part said out loud. the devs print value and delete it on a schedule, so grinding for a titanic is buying a stock the house can dilute whenever it wants. good rant, and its not even cynical, its just accurate.

youre right about the value churn, but from a farmer angle theres a way to not get burned, treat every pet as a tool for coins, not a savings account. grind the titanic to break bigger stuff faster, then bank the coins into the next meta before the event drops. play the treadmill for progress, not for resale, and the value swings stop hurting.
