the secret roll i will never forget

so anime vanguards has this thing where most of your rolls are commons and rares and you just tap through them, but every so often the screen does THE flash, the special animation that means something rare is coming, and your whole body tenses up. i had been grinding a banner for days trying for a specific secret unit, watching my friends pull theirs while i got nothing but dupes. i was so close to giving up. then one totally normal roll, mid conversation with my friends in a call, the screen went dark and did the big dramatic flash and i just SCREAMED mid sentence. my friends thought something was actually wrong lol. it was the exact secret unit i had been chasing this whole time. i immediately slotted it into my team and we ran the hardest stage we had been stuck on and finally cleared it with the new unit carrying us. everyone in the call was hyping me up like i had won the lottery. that is the magic of these anime tower defense games, the grind is long but that one roll makes the whole thing worth it, and having friends to freak out with makes it a hundred times better.
