i want to tell you about the little pixel puppy that made my whole week.

i loaded into animal hospital after a genuinely rough day, not expecting much, just wanted something gentle. my very first patient was this shivering scared little dog that wouldnt calm down. and i sat there and did every step, checked him over, treated him slow and careful, and when he finally perked up and wagged his tail, i actually felt my shoulders drop. a video game let me be the reason something felt safe again, and i think i needed that more than i realized.

then the anomaly mode kicked in with its little spooky spot the difference twist, and instead of ruining the vibe it just made me pay closer attention, like the game was quietly asking me to really SEE what was in front of me. which, honestly, kind of fits a caretaking game perfectly.

people chase the sweaty competitive games for adrenaline and thats great, i love that for them! but sometimes the most powerful thing a game can do is let you be kind to something small. thats the good stuff. thats exactly why i keep coming back.
