every fish in the book, or bust

started fisch thinking id catch a few cool fish and move on. hundreds of entries later im still here. the bestiary is the whole game for me now, i keep a checklist of what im missing and plan entire sessions around one region and one weather window, because half the rare fish only bite under specific conditions.

the mythics were the wall. some only show up in one spot with the right rod, right bait, right time, and even then its a low roll. i sat in the same fishing hole for a whole evening waiting on one and got it on basically the last cast before i was gonna log off. the secret fish took even longer, those are basically scavenger hunts where the community pieces together where they spawn.

am i done? no. they keep adding regions and every update drops a fresh page of entries to fill. thats the deal though, a logbook that never quite closes is exactly what keeps me coming back. tip if youre starting the bestiary: dont chase rares early, upgrade your rod and unlock regions first. the odds swing hard once your gear is actually right.
