theres a quiet worldbuilding in games that refuse to explain themselves and NDS is one. no story, no progression, just a little world that periodically tries to kill everyone on it then resets like nothing happened. its almost mythic in how simple it is, a place where disaster is the only constant and survival means nothing past the round. old roblox understood that atmosphere doesnt need a lore dump

this is exactly it. no battle pass, no login streak nagging you back, no gacha. you spawn, a disaster rolls in, you either live or you dont. the whole platform used to feel like this and most kids playing today never got to see that version of it.
