watch what these games actually sell and its never the item, its the clock. anime vanguards drops a limited unit on a banner with a timer and suddenly a game you were enjoying calmly turns into homework, roll now or lose it forever. thats not content, thats engineered pressure. i tracked one event, the leaves-forever unit came back in a rerun about three months later, so the forever was a lie, it was just a lever to make you buy luck potions before the counter hit zero. sols rng does the softer version with limited biomes, pet sim does it with event eggs, its the same pattern everywhere because it works, urgency shuts off the part of your brain that asks whether a pixel is worth real money. i dont roll on timers anymore. if a unit is only worth having because its leaving, it isnt good, its bait. play the game thats actually in front of you, not the one screaming at you to hurry. the countdown is the thing theyre selling and youre supposed to be the one paying for it.
