building my little island where nobody can bother me
islands is my comfort project. its basically skyblock, you get your own island and you slowly farm, craft, and set up little automated machines that keep working while you potter around. the best part for an introvert like me is that its your space, sealed off, no one can wander in and start drama. i mute chat, put music on, and just tend the setup, expand a farm, sort a chest, add a new machine to the line. its slow and honestly barely anyone plays it anymore, but that quiet is the whole appeal. logging off after tidying my island is the most relaxed i get all day. not every game needs a crowd. some of us just want a calm corner to build in.
