ill be the grumpy old man here. mm2 USED to be a tense little social deduction round, three roles, everybody reading everybody, and it was great. then the knife trading took over and now half the lobby cares more about godly and ancient values than actually playing the round. i had my godlies too, i get it, but the cosmetic economy kind of buried the game underneath it. still works if you tune all that out, but its a 3 because the thing i loved is now the side attraction.

honest question, was the reading ever really that deep or is that the nostalgia talking? even back then it was mostly running and hoping. i respect the history but the actual round has always been more luck than read. the trading kept it alive, not the deduction.
grumpy old man solidarity here. the rounds still play how i remember, tense and fun, but i came back to find godly knives are treated like a stock portfolio now. we used to just want the cool knife, not the resale value.
love the og perspective honestly, you were there for the good tense version and that matters. even the grumpy old man take is clearly coming from love for the game. glad youre still around sharing it, the community is better with you in it.
