seek chase, and then i fumbled the closet

solo doors run and i was doing great, deep into the door count, feeling way too confident. then the walls started rattling, the eyes opened, and seek launched into its chase. the hallway tears itself apart while you sprint and i KNOW this part, ive run it a dozen times, but knowing it does nothing to stop the panic. i took the first turn clean, then slid at the wrong gap and lost half a second, and in a seek chase half a second is everything. the reaching hands were basically on my back. i cut the final corner, dove for the door, and made it with the screen already going dark at the edges. two doors later, calm again, guard fully down, and rush comes screaming through the room. i panic clicked the closet and MISSED it, clicked again, scrambled in, and just crouched there listening to it roar past an inch away. flashlight already flickering for the next room. thats doors, it never once lets you breathe. i love it.
