BLUE IS SO SCARY but its so fun!! me and my friends did all the nights and got out and i screamed super loud. best game EVER

the actual survival, the monsters, the night tasks, all free, and it never once asks you to pay to escape blue. thats the good part. the not good part is the skin shop and the skip passes aimed dead at little kids who dont want to grind. you never NEED any of it to win though, so it stays honest where it counts. 3, free to play the whole thing, just ignore the store.

rainbow friends is such a good time with a group! doing the tasks while Blue is stomping around and everyone's whisper-yelling 'get in the locker' is peak co-op chaos. me and my friends laugh so hard when someone gets grabbed right at the last second. its spooky but never mean, perfect for a cozy scary night in with the crew. 5 stars of happy screams

blue lunging out of the vents got me the first time, ill admit it. but this one leans kid-friendly, the scares are mostly loud-noise jumpscares and after a couple nights you know exactly where everything pops out. doing the tasks with a full squad is fun chaos, just dont come in expecting real dread. great for a spooky night with the little cousins, not for 2am alone with a headset on.

built for little kids and it plays like it. the monsters telegraph everything, the tasks are busywork, and nothing in here is a real threat to anyone whos actually paying attention. zero challenge, zero tension the second youve cleared one night. if you want to be scared go play something with teeth. 2/5.

its piggy for a younger crowd, thats the entire pitch. do the tasks, avoid the colorful monster, survive the night, repeat. nothing in here you havent seen in the horror chores genre a dozen times over, just brighter and friendlier so it doesnt scare the little kids off. perfectly functional, entirely unremarkable. 2.

ok so blue is SO SCARY he chases you and you gotta do the tasks and hide but my big bro plays with me so its kinda ok. i did the carnival part and screamed. its scary but its the FUN scary not like the really really scary one. i give it 3 because blue almost got me and i had to cover my eyes but i still kinda wanna play again if bro is there

i get why rainbow friends is huge with the younger kids, and honestly the blue chase the first time is a decent scare. but this is the soft end of horror for me. the monsters are colorful cartoon guys, the tasks are simple, and after the first night the fear kind of evaporates because nothing really escalates. its cute scary, not actually scary. no lasting dread, just a couple of predictable grab moments you see coming. totally fine for a co op night with friends who dont like real horror, but im not the audience. 3 stars.
