my old pets were still waiting for me

i had this game installed forever and finally caved and logged back in after years away. loading screen looked fancier now, ok, deep breath. logged in and there they were, all my old pets from back when i grinded chores for bucks to hatch eggs. i actually said aww out loud to my empty room. yeah the shop has WAY more in it now and it took me a bit to figure out all the new eggs and pets, but honestly it was fun learning, like getting a little tour of everything my game turned into while i was away. i wandered around, a random kind stranger gave me a pet just to be nice, and i redecorated my house. i came in half expecting to feel like a stranger and instead it felt like my pets remembered me. the happiest little reunion. so glad i never deleted my account all those years ago.
