clever systems buried under a decade of jank. from a dev seat LT2 is genuinely inspired, the wood is real physics objects you cut and haul, and its an open sandbox with almost no UI hand-holding, bold for 2014 and it mostly works. but i cant unsee the seams, ancient UI, base parts that clip and fight each other, and the physics-wood that makes it special also flips your car and yeets your logs into orbit. fans call the jank charm, i get it, but learning to script i notice all of it. respect the ideas more than the play. 3.

the one tycoon i forgive for having no droppers. i live for automation and dropper satisfaction so on paper LT2 shouldnt work for me, everything here is manual, you chop, you mill, you haul, you sell. but the chop-mill-sell loop just clicks, watching the money climb every time i dump a stack of planks at the sell box scratches the exact itch i play tycoons for. its a true open sandbox, you build your own base and shop, run blue wood expeditions for the big money, no hand-holding at all. the climb from a rusty axe to the end-times chainsaw is real. i still daydream about a conveyor that auto-mills, but the hands-on grind grew on me. 2014 and still cozy as anything. numbers go up, im happy, staying favorited.
calls itself a tycoon but theres zero automation, thats my whole problem. every log is hand-chopped, hauled to the mill, cut to planks, dragged to the sell box, all manual, nothing runs while youre afk. parked an alt in here to idle and it just stood there, wood doesnt cut itself. proper open sandbox though, the base building and blue wood runs are cool, classic for a reason. but from an idle seat its all labor and no passive gains. love watching numbers climb, hate swinging the axe for every one.
