my daughter the tiny vet

my middle daughter has wanted to be a vet since she could talk, so when she found animal hospital it was basically love at first sight. she runs her little clinic with the most serious focus, animals come in sick or hurt and she has to figure out what is wrong and treat them, and she narrates the WHOLE thing to me. mom this puppy has a hurt paw, i have to be very gentle, in the most caring little voice. it is exactly the kind of wholesome game i wish there was more of, the entire point is to help and heal, nothing scary, nothing mean. i started sitting with her while she plays and now its our quiet bonding time after her siblings have worn themselves out. the other day she told me she is practicing for when she is a real vet and i nearly cried. a game that makes my kid excited about caring for animals and being gentle? yes please. we are both a little obsessed and honestly i am not mad about it.
