the thumbnail that finally broke 1k

ok storytime. ive been stuck at 42 subs for like two months and every brainrot video i posted was dying at 60 views. i knew the content wasnt the problem, i clipped a clean base raid where i stole four brainrots and escaped on basically 1 hp, that was funny. it was the packaging. so i spent a whole evening on thumbnails instead of homework, like 11 versions. the first ten were me trying to be clever, tiny text, cropped screenshots, nobody clicks that. the one that hit was dumb simple, my face doing a shocked expression, one giant brainrot, three words max, super high contrast so it pops on a phone screen where most people scroll. posted it and refreshed for an hour like a maniac. 200 views. then 600. i woke up and it was at 1.4k. FOURTEEN HUNDRED. i know thats nothing to a real channel but i almost cried ngl. the lesson i keep relearning is nobody cares how good the clip is if they never click. the thumbnail IS the video. like and sub lol
