movement is aim: how i actually climbed ranked in rivals

everyone thinks flicking is the whole game in rivals. its not. your aim is only as good as the position you shoot from, thats how i climbed while better aimers stayed hardstuck.

biggest thing, stop standing still to shoot. peekers advantage is real, if youre strafing and they arent you see them first and your shot lands before their brain even registers you. i drill counter strafing so i stop for the exact frame i fire then keep moving. dead standing players are free frags, dont be one.

second, stop holding angles like a coward. camping a corner gets you a couple cheap kills but it hard caps your rank because decent players just avoid the angle and take the objective while you sit there. i push, i take space, i trade. aggression with a plan beats sitting still every single time.

and yeah youll run into cheaters, some silver aim clown snapping to heads on a script. dont tilt, dont copy them, clip it, report it, requeue. the ladder sorts itself out over enough games if your fundamentals are actually real.

tldr, aim gets you frags, movement gets you rank. lab your strafes, push with intent, quit camping. see you in the lobby.

correct read. positioning is a free 20 percent on your aim and nobody logs it. only thing id add is the peeker's advantage in this netcode still rewards the wide swing more than it should, so pre-aim doesnt always save you. clean vod though.
