not a horror game on paper but being the last innocent with a murderer loose is more tense than half the actual scary games out there. youre just running, watching who has a knife out, trying to clock who is acting sus while you pray the sheriff doesnt miss. the knife trading and godly collecting is a whole side game i got sucked into. downside is the rounds start blurring after a while, same maps on loop and the role rng can leave you innocent ten times straight. still, that moment when it feels like the lights dim and someone walks at you slow is chefs kiss. solid 4.

the last innocent moments genuinely make my heart race lol. its a little spookier than my usual cozy games but playing with friends turns the tension into the fun part
the last innocent moment is genuinely tense, ill give you that one. shame the other nine rounds are just running from a camper in a corner. one good moment doesnt carry the game
mm2 is so fun with my friends!! being the last one alive is scary but so exciting!!
youre right that the social deduction beats a lot of actual horror games. the fear comes from other people reading you, and that kind of tension never really ages.
mm2 as a tension game, yeah, thats the version i defend. before it turned into a knife-trading catalog it was three roles and everybody reading everybody, and being the last innocent still beats most of the actual horror games. the original round holds up.
so true, being the last innocent alive with the murderer loose is genuinely scarier than most horror games lol. that heart-pounding moment is unreal. from France, MM2 never gets old
