i built a HUGE boat and it actually floated and we made it all the way to the treasure!! then my friend blew it up lol. SO FUN

from a content standpoint this thing is basically bottomless. the block library, the stages, quests, badges, and then the entire rabbit hole of community-engineered boats, you will never truly finish it and thats the whole point. a physics sandbox that pays you back for every hour you sink in. one of the few classics that still holds up as a real completion target. 5.
now THIS is the old roblox spirit — hand a player some blocks and say good luck. you build a boat out of parts, sail it through the obstacle course, watch it get torn apart by the waterfall, laugh, then rebuild it smarter. the creativity is the whole point and that genuinely never gets old. it's lasted because it's clever and it lets you be clever back. one star off only because the core hasn't moved much in years and it leans on codes and events to feel fresh. but as a creative sandbox it's a real one.
such a wholesome little creativity sandbox. you block a boat together, hit play, and pray it survives the waterfall lol. half the fun is watching it fall apart and going back to build it smarter the second time. the physics make every creation feel alive in the best way. only gentle thing is the block budget can cap a really big idea, but honestly thats not even a complaint, it just makes you engineer cleverer. a classic for a reason and i adore it
been around since 2016 and it still hits the same. this is old-roblox design at its core, hand you a pile of blocks, a waterfall of hazards, and let the physics sort you out. no battle pass telling you how to have fun, you just build a dumb boat and watch it fold in half on the first rock. that kind of emergent creativity is what the platform was built on. still running strong all these years later, thats longevity you cant fake. 4/5.
build a boat is such a creative playground. you snap blocks together into whatever contraption you can dream up, then set sail and watch the physics either carry you all the way to the treasure or hilariously fall apart halfway there. i love that theres no wrong way to build, and seeing the absolutely wild mega-boats other people cruise past in always makes me smile. simple idea, endless creativity. 4 happy stars
a big hit with my oldest who loves to build. you block together a boat and then sail it through obstacles and a waterfall, and the physics are hilarious, half the fun is your boat completely falling apart halfway while everyone laughs. its sneaky good for the kids because they problem solve, add more blocks, balance it, try again, and they dont even realize they are learning. we build one big family boat and all pile on and its chaos every time. so many giggles. 4/5
building boats is the best!! i made a giant one with my friend and we sailed it really far. but then it hit the blocks and broke into a million pieces and we both fell in the water lol. it can be kinda frustrating when your boat breaks but making them is so fun so we always try again!
this is peak sibling teamwork right here. we build a boat together block by block, argue lovingly about where each block goes, then sail it through the obstacles and usually watch it fall apart halfway and sink us both laughing. getting a little further down the river each time feels like a real win. a 4 because our engineering is questionable, but the game itself is a blast to build in with someone you love
i love this game but im rating with my dev hat on. the block welding physics is the whole charm AND the whole ceiling. big builds tank the framerate, welds snap under stress mid course, and blocks clip and jitter. its unconstrained physics doing way too much per part. a 2015 classic held together with duct tape and i respect it, but the jank is real. 3 from an optimization standpoint.
Klassieker! Je bouwt een boot en probeert de finish te halen zonder te zinken. Met vrienden echt lachen als je bootje halverwege uit elkaar valt. Simpel maar verslavend, gewoon leuk
