a quiet evening in the drylands

logged into fisch tonight with chat off and some lofi playing and just fished the drylands for an hour. thats the whole story and thats exactly why i love it. i found a quiet spot, watched the water, cast, waited, reeled something in, upgraded my rod a little. no one talked to me, no one needed me, no timer breathing down my neck. just the loop and the music. i think people underrate how nice it is to have a game you can play completely alone and still feel like youve done something. i wasnt grinding for a leaderboard, i was just casting into the dark and letting my brain settle. i closed the app calmer than i opened it. thats a good night to me.
