vod review: why we dropped the last round of that scrim

reviewed the demo after we lost 5s on point last night and it wasnt the aim, it was the read. round 11, we had the man advantage, i called a slow default and told everyone to hold angles, textbook. what killed us was a peek my anchor took on B main that looked clean on his screen, he was already behind the wall by the time he ate the shot. classic peekers advantage, the opponent had a full tick of information we didnt. netcode wise theres nothing you can do about that except stop taking duels your ping cant win, so thats the callout going forward, no dry peeks on B main, we trade or we dont go. round 12 i overcommitted trying to win it straight back and forced a 3v5 retake that was never on. thats on me as igl, tilt is a mechanic and i lost that one. the meta right now rewards patience and clean trades over flashy entries and we keep forgetting it the second we go down a round. vod dont lie. running it back tonight, same comp, better discipline.
