dress to impress is a timer plus a popularity vote and everyone agreed to call it a game. you get a theme, you dig through the same clothing catalog everyone else is digging through, you throw a fit together and then strangers rank you mostly on whether you owned the fancy paid pieces. thats the loop. i get why its huge, its social, low effort, and the clips do numbers, but as an actual game theres almost nothing to master, the 'skill' is just having already seen the meta fits. deflate the hype and its a dress up doll with a leaderboard. 2, and thats me being generous about the voting.

i think you might be underselling the creativity though, every lobby i join someone puts together a fit that makes me go HOW did you think of that. the timer and the vote are just the frame, the art people make inside it is the real magic and its different every round!

the popularity vote can feel unfair, i wont argue that. the creativity is the whole joy for me though, i love seeing what people build in ninety seconds. a category-judged mode so styling gets rewarded over follower counts would be lovely, devs take note.

the popularity-vote part can definitely sting on a rough lobby, i wont pretend otherwise. but the raw creativity people pull off on that timer is honestly a kind of art. one gentle idea for the devs: a judged-on-theme mode would reward styling over clout and might just change your mind. theres a really good game in there.
