clutching the last gen in forsaken
forsaken match last night that i will not be forgetting. im a survivor, and by the halfway point the killer had already downed five of us, so its me and two others left with two objectives to go and the exit still cold.
the killer was playing smart, patrolling between the last generators instead of chasing anyone, so every time we crept out to work we had to bail. one teammate goes down trying to bait it away, then the other, and now its just me. one objective left. im crouched behind cover watching this thing pace back and forth, heart in my throat, waiting for the half second it looks the wrong way.
it finally strays and i sprint to the last machine and start cranking, and i swear the sound of it completing while i can hear the killer sprinting back toward me is the most stressful noise in all of roblox. the gate powers up, i bolt for the exit with it literally one swing behind me, and slip out the second the doors open. one survivor out of eight. i was actually shaking. this is exactly why the 1v8 format hits so hard, being the last one alive genuinely MEANS something here.
