عالم Dandys هو السبب الرئيسي الذي جعلني أبدأ في صياغة النظريات على هذا الموقع. على المستوى السطحي، هي لعبة رعب رسوم متحركة من نوع روغلايك، اجمع الرسوم المتحركة، انظف الأرضيات، ولا تدع التويستدز يمسكون بك. لكن تحت ذلك يوجد أحد أغنى العوالم على روبلوكس، لأن التويستدز ليسوا مجرد وحوش، بل هم ما أصبح عليه التونز، وابتسامة داندي خلف الكاونتر بينما يدير المكان كله أكثر شرا مما يحق لتميمة محل الزهور أن تكون. كل شخصية تحمل خلفية لا ترويها اللعبة إلا نصفها، وهذا بالضبط نوع الفجوة التي أحب أن أدخلها. الرعب القائم على الجري فعلا متوتر والقائمة تستمر في ظهور النظريات أسرع مما أستطيع كتابتها. قدمتها لأن لا شيء جديد آخر يحتوي على هذا القدر من المساحة تحت ألواح الأرضية. ذروة.

dandys world is the coziest looking game that will absolutely wreck your nerves. its a roguelike where you play cute little toons doing machine objectives across floors while twisted versions of those exact characters hunt you down, and the gap between adorable and terrifying is the whole magic. the twisteds each move different so you actually have to learn their behavior, and dandy himself turning on you is such a good heel turn. every toon has different stats so collecting them and building a run is addicting. gorgeous, tense, and genuinely great monster design instead of cheap jumpscares. easy 5, the twisteds live in my head rent free.

dont let the cute toons fool you, the Twisteds are pure nightmare fuel. love collecting the roster and every floor keeps me on edge, especially when the lights dip and you hear one shuffling closer. the roguelike run structure is genuinely good. only knocking a star because the stretch between strong runs gets repetitive, but the atmosphere nails that wrong-cartoon feeling. creepier than it has any right to be.

looping a twisted around a corner takes real spacing and stamina management, ill give it that much. the problem is how much of a run comes down to floor rng and whether four randoms know what theyre doing. i want my deaths to be MY fault, not because the game rolled a bad layout or some panicked teammate led a twisted straight to me. theres a solid skill game buried under the rng. 3/5, closer to fair than most horror gets.

do not let the cute toon art fool you, theres a dark iceberg forming under this one. the twisteds are corrupted versions of the exact toons you collect and play as, which raises the question of what dandy actually is and whether hes running these floors as a trial on purpose. theres research log flavor, character backstories that hint something is wrong, vee and astro have implied histories, and the datamined mainframe stuff keeps deepening it. its still alpha so the lore is unfolding in real time which is honestly the fun part, watching the theory community build the iceberg floor by floor. charming surface, unsettling depths. solid 4

the toon horror roguelike thing is very of the moment and dandys world does it competently enough. collecting the toons, clearing floors, dodging the twisteds, its all fine. the art style is cute and the twisteds are creepy in the right way. i just cant shake the feeling ive played this exact loop a dozen times in different skins this year. not bad at all, just doesnt stick for me. average.
